Jessica Jennings, MA, RP(Q)
Psychotherapist (Qualifying) – Daru Therapy Centre
At Daru Therapy Centre, we provide psychotherapy and counselling for youth, individuals, and couples across Ontario. Jessica Jennings is a compassionate and curious therapist who believes meaningful change begins with being truly seen and heard.
With a background in social psychology and a passion for inclusive, affirming care, Jessica supports clients navigating anxiety, perfectionism, ADHD, identity exploration, and major life transitions. She works from an integrative approach combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. Her sessions help clients gently challenge limiting patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop practical tools for everyday life.
Jessica is also known for her creative use of geek therapy — integrating games, fantasy worlds, and fandoms into the therapeutic process. Whether connecting a D&D campaign to real-life choices, using an anime storyline to explore values, or framing challenges as a video game quest, she makes therapy feel safe, relatable, and engaging.
Skilled in working with neurodivergent individuals — including those with ADHD, Autism, and learning differences — Jessica continues to expand her expertise in collaborative, creative approaches that reflect each client’s unique world. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology from McMaster University. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #17471).
Outside of her work, Jessica enjoys art, role-playing games, sketching, and delightfully bad movies — always finding humour in life’s imperfections.
