Hi! I’m Carolyn. After more than a decade as a high school teacher supporting youth—many of whom were newcomers to Canada navigating profound life transitions—I felt called to deepen the ways I connect with others. My passion for holding space through change now sits at the heart of my psychotherapy practice. I believe therapy can be a powerful force for healing, and it would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you explore your own path forward.

What Is It Like to Work With Me?

I believe the therapeutic relationship is foundational. I’ll take time to really know you—not just your challenges but your strengths, your goals, and your story. I hope you leave our sessions feeling seen, supported, and more connected to yourself.

What Can You Expect in a Session?

Expect an atmosphere of ease and openness. Together, we’ll shape each session to meet your needs—whether it’s navigating a current struggle or gently stepping into deeper work. I integrate evidence-informed approaches, but our collaboration and your pace guide the work.

Therapeutic Approach

I take a mindfulness-based, integrative, and person-centred approach to support your personal growth and healing. Whether you’re navigating transitions, grief, or looking to explore inner patterns, we’ll work as a team to understand your experiences and promote meaningful change.

  • Mindfulness: Encourages present-moment awareness with non-judgement to build emotional tolerance and presence.
  • Integrative: Blends multiple evidence-based models to create sessions tailored to your unique needs.
  • Person-Centred: Emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard to support healing and growth.
